With a capacity of 80,000 spectators, Stade de France has all the numbers to make it the largest stadium in France (and one of the largest in Europe). Inaugurated in 1998, this sports stadium hosted the World Football Championship and the Rugby World Cup. Located about ten kilometres from the centre of Paris, today Stade de France hosts major football and rugby matches, as well as athletics competitions and concerts. In this context, attended by thousands of spectators for each event, safety is an absolute priority, also regarding lift systems, which require reliable, secure components to withstand potential vandalism.
Iris display: certified resistance.
Stade de France chose Vega to meet its safety needs. Thus, the lifts in this sports stadium were equipped with TFT Iris displays. We are talking about high-resolution 4.3” landing and cabin displays. Why did they make this choice? Because Iris is a device designed to resist. A display that is watertight, that guarantees anti-vandal resistance (EN 81-70 certification), construction quality and safety (UL certification, recognised worldwide).
